NLP the future

WWW
« on: Dec 08 2005, 10:55PM »

I’m running one-day courses at Holigral (South UK & Wales) for Golfers and corporate events. Some of the NLP techniques are relatively simple but have some profound effects. I’m interested in how we can shut down the inner voices people have to focus in on the ‘now’. Usually one of the biggest problem golfers face.
Using a calibration technique  knuppel2 and eastern techniques (Tai Chi) are ones that I use at the moment. Does anyone have any others?
We are developing 20 day Sport Practitioners course in the New Year - if you're interested let me know.

One of the biggest skills that a practitioner can learn is state management. If your facing the 18th 1 stroke ahead in the Ryder cup and you don’t have absolute state management your balls are not what going to be sunk.
I don’t play golf myself but the extreme nature of state management is great to watch and a challenge to teach. There are number of skills for a golfer, of which i compare to being in the right space to facilitate a client through their issues.
We have just revamped the site and the sports pages are still being developed.

cheers

If there are people not getting results from their NLP Pract. Then I propose that it is the Pract. that is not effective. NLP skills are very effective to those who know how to use these skills.  A smart NLP Pract. will know when to use his/her skills and when to refer them to some one else.  Working in conjunction with others, not taking over.
